post Recompilers evolve!

Ok, going forward. I’ve spent last few nights trying to fix the recompilers. Seems like leopard is very, very sensitive to stack alignment and in pcsx2 code there are lots of time when the stack is misaligned(what with inline asm everywhere). So far, i’ve managed to get japan bios 1.0 to run.

It runs on 15-20 fps, this is debug build of pcsx2, no dc/mgts. Is this roughly the same on windows? The interpreter mode is 2fps on this build

Yeah, here is the video

So, i didn’t make much progress with making anything else display on current build and as I have no real idea what’s broken in the build(and also linux build btw) the thing I will do is update the GSsoft plugin to work with the build so at least I’m not confused if zerogs/x11 is broken.

Any comments/suggestions appreciated.

post Trac up

Ok, it was a long time since my last post. First of all, thanks for all the support. I haven’t dedicated time to this project during the last few months as I’ve moved to another country and just started my first job so wasn’t enough time. But seeing as how you are all so interested and seeing replies at pcsx2 forums i decided that I should get some work done.

So, now I have a subversion repository up on my server. The progress can be tracked through Trac at http://quant0r.com/trac/trac.cgi.

For all the brave souls out there I’ve uploaded the latest build. Grab it here – pcsx2.tar.gz

Hm, i’m not too sure what are the dependencies but you’ll surely need x11 and gtk+. I need a volunteer with a clean mac to go through build process so that I can make a decent step-by-step build manual
