Migration
August 13th, 2010
I’m migrating the website to a new server, I’m not sure at the moment if I will keep wordpress or graduate to something more flexible to allow proper plugin repositories, bug trackers and what not. I’m also getting a new domain so the final address will be pcsx2mac.net as this turned out to be my main proejct in the end.
So I would also like to know what feaures you would like to see on the new website. Comments welcome!

If you need any help with the design of the new site, I am willing to help!

Spam filtering on the comments would be a good feature. (Some of the outsourced comment systems, like Disqus, include this for free. Akismet is also available for free for non-commercial use too.)

I’m a graphic designer/developer and I would be willing to collaborate with you on the new site, if you’re interested.

Thanks so much for your hard work. I was wondering, when are you planning on releasing the next build?

Agreed with above, wonderful to see you’re still working on this. It looks like you’re using git as your VCS, have you considered just setting up a github page in that case? Might make it easier to keep everything together with minimal setup work.
As far as features for a new website, I can think of a couple main ones off the top of my head. The first would be slightly improved UI overall, ie., for writing comments don’t make us use black on dark grey :p. The other stuff is more a mirror of what tends to exist on emulation sites in general. A wiki or something that could be used for dealing with Mac specific issues and workarounds might be useful, and if there exist any differences in game support for OS X vs Windows (perhaps due to some specific DirectX stuff that is hard to port) then an area to detail game compatibility/settings might be useful as well. I’ll see if I can’t think of anything else, but again, thank you!
