Snow Leopard 0.9.6 release

I’m releasing the latest 0.9.6 into the wild, the new link for the package is here. The package only works on Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and higher, you’ve been warned.
The new package includes the zerospu2/portaudio by default and the version of zzogl included is the latest r213 so no more downloads required.
The package should install fine on top of the previous release but I’ll also try to release an uninstaller at some point.
Thank you! I’ll install tonight (fresh install for me, never used pcsx2mac before) and report back.

Hey! Thanks for the great release. I’ve been anticipating it for awhile. I’ve had mostly success however, I’ve loaded 2 different games now, both without any sound.

This version seems to work great with Kingdom Hearts 2, running at almost full speed, I’ve also tried Persona 4, but so far I’ve gotten glitched graphics, when you said the persona games were fixed, what settings did you use?

i have a weird problem.. i have the latest SL but when i dl and extract the PCSX2 .pkg so it can install in the Applications folder, it won’t let me open it.
It doesn’t even look like it opens in the same way that some apps that hang for a while, then launch.
this does nothing at all
what is causing this?
PS. could it possible to change either the site color or the font color? i’m having a hard time looking at black on dark grey.

Cool your emulator! but doesnt work .I would like to know exactly what to do to make it happen.I dont now if is the game or i dont download the necessary support to run. My Mac is a mac osx Snow Leopard 10.6.6 running with 2.4 GHz processor intel core 2 duo.

Is it possible that you will update the guide for the most recent update? I’m running snow leopard and I have downloaded everything that it says is required but it refuses to run. Whenever I try to make it run X11 opens up and says “Library not Loaded” and “Reason: image not found”

You are running os x older than 10.6.3 probably, other than that there shouldn’t be any more installs needed

When I open About this Mac it says I am running version 10.6.6.

so the problem i am having is when i launch the installer it goes through all the way to the installation part and then it freezes there and does nothing the whole time it (says preparing for installation and scroll thing/ progress bar is still going)
so in otherwords i can’t even install it to test it
(i know installer works cause i installed a pkg yesterday)

Hi,
I need some help. I have downloaded the installation for my mac and i have successfully Installed it. Im running on i5 processor and 10.6.7 snow leopard. But every time i open the app. it displays an error.
“dyld: Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Library/Frameworks/Cg.framework/Cg
Referenced from: /Applications/pcsx2.app/Contents/Resources/pcsx2/./pcsx2
Reason: image not found
pcsx2.sh: line 2: 581 Trace/BPT trap ./pcsx2″
It also opens x11 when displaying this. Please help. Really need to work this up cause i wanna play all the rpg games that i missed.
