I’ve fixed had some time to work on pcsx2/mac as you might have noticed and the last positive thing to come out of this is persona games compatibility. They should be fixed and running in the upcoming release.
Just an intro teaser for the time being, fmv’s are getting better and better(ffx ones shouldn’t have black lines anymore btw)
I’ve fixed the issue with the zerospu2 on 10.6 and all other plugins seem to be working fine, So I’m going to release a new package soon including zzogl r213 which has been requested often in the forums.
I will keep the leopard package online but from now onwards I won’t be checking backward compatibility much.
P.S. I’m working on ffx freeze problem but no luck so far, will keep you posted
WordPress has been upgraded, and as you also see there’s a nav bar now with links to issue tracker, forums and downloads so it should be a bit easier to navigate.
Please use pcsx2mac.net instead of pcsx2-mac.quant0r.com, the old domain is still up but at some point i might retire that one.
So, after toying with the idea of drupal for a couple of months I’ve decided to keep the wordpress Having also set up a permanent redirect from pcsx2-mac.quant0r.com this means that all old links are valid.
I also enabled Akismet finally, it was malfunctioning apparently, so should be able to read comments now
So, as the tracker is up and running the next thing on my todo is to start the main website. So far, I’m leaning towards using drupal as the cms with reasonable integration with redmine.
I’m a bit lost in themes so I was wondering if you guys can help out by suggesting themes?
So far, I roughly need the following:
Blog
Files/plugins repository
Wiki
Forums
I’m not a good designer by any stretch of imagination so any other suggestions welcome
So, the new domain is up, but pcsx2mac.net at the moment just points to a default page.
Going forward, I’ve decided to use redmine as the main issue tracker and repository viewer for the projects. The official link is redmine.pcsx2mac.net, ZZogl and pcsx2mac have been added successfully.
The repositories have basic authentication enabled, read-only access is available for everyone, push access will be automatically granted for redmine developer users(not that I have any volunteers yet )
I’m migrating the website to a new server, I’m not sure at the moment if I will keep wordpress or graduate to something more flexible to allow proper plugin repositories, bug trackers and what not. I’m also getting a new domain so the final address will be pcsx2mac.net as this turned out to be my main proejct in the end.
So I would also like to know what feaures you would like to see on the new website. Comments welcome!
So, i’ve been migrating to my new macbook pro and have successfully built pcsx2 against snow leopard x11, will have to test if this will still work with xquartz and root out some bugs before I return to the gui project. I will also be posting a compilation guide for the more adventurous as i finally done it from scratch and logged my actions. For the time being another disgaea video…
P.S. Yeah, i know you are probably getting tired of the same video over and over but this one is 60 fps throughout with good sound quality and my mac at the moment was only using around 60% cpu, i7′s are great
